Fellow Evelia Yucra is the first female sex worker in Bolivia who achieved to include her profession in her identity card. This is a milestone for both sex workers and the country in recognizing the right of identity.

ONAEM is part of the Committee against Racism and All Forms of Discrimination (Comité de Lucha contra el Racismo y Toda Forma de Discriminación) that will oversee the implementation of Law Nº45, which aims to eliminate racism in Bolivia.

Due to the closing of night clubs, ONAEM members met with the Ombudsman, officials and police representatives to defend labor rights of female sex workers.

Fellows from ONAEM recognize that their work allowed them to be increasingly consulted by both politicians and other actors of civil society.
