Health advocacy in the days of carnival.

Between March 5 to 8, the carnival carried through in Panama, and our sex workers fellows took advantage of the feast for promoting health care activities. Thus, Lineth Pinzón from Sex Workers Women Network of Panama said that “these celebrations are an excellent opportunity for the amount of people who convenes. We were doing Health campaigns around town and we were handing out condoms at different points”. Ramona Juana Torres, also representative of the network, said they started before booting the carnival: «They were 7 days in total. We ended up very happy, we walked the streets and private workplaces; these have been some excellent days of prevention».
