The organization opened a new filial, this time in the southernmost city in the world.

On August 12, Ammar opened a new filial, this time in Ushuaia. The event was held in the Partido Social Patagónico (PSP) place, where their office will work temporarily. The celebration was attended by the General Secretary of National Ammar —Elena Reynaga—, the deputy Jorgelina Sosa, the organization’s lawyer Gastón Fingermann, 16 fellows of the new filial, including Verónica Zalazar (General Secretary of Ammar Ushuaia), Claudia Obando (Deputy Secretary) and Isabel Paez (Treasurer). They were also accompanied by representatives of the Central de Trabajadores Argentinos, the Ministries of Health and Education, National Deputies and social organizations. «So far there are 15 affiliates in Rio Grande and over 100 in Ushuaia, but we know that there are many more, to whom I ask to join us because it is something that will bring many benefits to all», told our fellow Verónica.
