The Association Unidas en la Esperanza participated between October 25 and 26 from the 1st National Forum on «Socialization of the Strategic Plan of National Response to Sexually Transmitted Infections, HIV and AIDS» at the Cultural Center of the Republic «El Cabildo».

This meeting was held in the framework of the «HIV/AIDS/STIs in 6 health regions of Paraguay» oriented towards the goal of universal access to the Millennium Development Goals. The project was presented by the Country Coordinating Mechanism from Paraguay and approved by the Global Fund in 2006. Its principal recipient is the Community Foundation Information and Resource Centre for Development (ICDR) and as sub beneficiaries the National Program of AIDS/ITS Control (PRONASIDA) and Civil Society Organizations connected to the issues addressed by the project.
