On February 3, our fellow Nubia Ordonez, representative of La Sala, was elected to represent sex workers women as a member of the Country Coordinating Mechanism of Costa Rica (CCM). The CCM is a national body, composed by groups of interest involved in the fight for control of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It is the first time in this space in Costa Rica that the sex workers women are represented.
