Wide-awake after the surprise of being selected by the Global Fund to execute our project, we started to work with our usual strength on the responses we have to provide the Technical Panel Reviewer of the Fund. We have to send them to Geneva to be able to begin our dream implementation as soon as possible.

But March surprised us even more than January, with news that stunned us in a very different way: from the deep sadness of the loss of a great fighter and friend. Our fellow Carmen Hernandez Osorio, from MODEMU in the Dominican Republic, left us when we least expected. We will always remember her as a cheerful, funny and, above all, tenacious woman.
