Health workshop for sex workers who are just starting in the activity.

On Saturday 26th of February, the women of «Mujeres con dignidad a vivir por Panamá» provided a health workshop for fellows who are new in sex work. During the conference issues such as avoiding the possibility of contracting sexually transmitted infections were addressed. Juana Ramona Torres, representative of the organization, said that: “it is very important for us to know new fellows and to inform them from the beginning about how to take care themselves in this work. We teach the proper use of condoms among other things, issues that many do not know and here they can learn and ask questions safely”.
