OMES participated in the Mesoamerica feminist meeting organized by Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (Flacso)

From May 4th to May 6th fellow workers from OMES participated in the Mesoamerica feminist meeting organized by Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (Flacso). Approximately seven hundred women from universities, indigenous activists, afrodescendants, mixed raced, from diverse identities, experiences, territories and histories gathered to debate on gender and feminism issues and their relation with social sciences in four working groups.
In their final statement participants expressed that they “have worked in a space of love in order to visualize ourselves as complete human beings, to recognize and validate our creative, intellectual, theory, communicative, history making, citizen building abilities and body, mind and spirit healers, to recognize our sexuality”.
