The organization UNES from Paraguay participated in the training course organized by the Centro de Documentación y Estudios (CDE).

The course, for women activists and leaders of organizations, aimed to provide basic training in democracy, citizenship and gender equality in order to support the performance of these women in building a more just and democratic society.

Three fellows from UNES participated and they received their certificate of participation. «The course was launched in 2010, and we are participating since then. Each year, we encourage our fellows to participate, because we believe that the more female sex workers understand their rights, more players will be in this process of change«, summed up Lucila Esquivel president of UNES and member of the Directive Board of RedTraSex.
