From June 28 to 30, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Partnership Forum was held in Sao Paulo (Brazil).

This meeting is held every two years with all actors related to the Global Fund. Elena Reynaga attended the meeting representing the REDTRASEX: «The forum is a particularly important place to make heard sex workers women voices to influence before all the Global Fund Board. Kazatchkine said it at the opening: the forum is a kind of Parliament of Global Fund; all donors are there as well as countries representatives».
 
For three days topics were discussed ranging from how to make better use of money and mobilize resources until the inclusion of human rights approaches. The REDTRASEX Executive Secretary said during the conference that «while many female sex workers have entered the Country Coordinating Mechanism, we still see that very few organizations participate in the Forum».
