On Tuesday 17th of July, the General Secretary of A.M.M.A.R. —Claudia Carranza— with the Director of the AIDS Prevention Program (Prevensida) —Miguel Pedrola— held a meeting with the mayor of Venado Tuerto —Mr. José Luis Freyre— and the Cabinet Coordinator —Norma Orlanda— after the convocation of A.M.M.A.R. to the debate table for discussion of the proposed new city ordinance against trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Fellow from A.M.M.A.R. was very happy and satisfied with the convocation of A.M.M.A.R. to integrate the ordinance project "because from these spaces they never convoke us and they make decisions about sex workers without we being there", she said. Regarding the law to regulate sex work proposed by A.M.M.A.R., Carranza said precisely that this law "speaks of sex work as autonomous work without a chief and we talk about a cooperative organization for sex workers, where no one ordain over the work of colleagues, because that it is a crime. This law will be a change and a social transformation, that’s why the draft is circulating throughout the provinces".
